The employees harbor great attitudes despite their corporate overlord's inability to negotiate their union contract. Some of the other shoppers can't wrap their heads around the one-way sign in the parking lot. So it's an absolute mess out there. Other than that it's a great store. ”

“ HOLY F... I have had some epic tragic shopping experiences lately I could write a book about. Imagine my shock when I go through my experience here. OK, I will start by saying they do have a parking lot and I was able to park right across the street - I have an ADA tag but the lot looked mstly full and the spot was open so I grabbed it since I would probably have had to park much further had I circled around. They store even looks really welcoming, clean and nice. Grabbing their motorized cart was low drama except I will say I felt like I was gonna wreck...and navigating the wine aisle...ohhhh boy those aisles are tight so hearing the glass clang trying to get around was SCARY! That is my only complaint in the store is that it is tight to drive that through. I was able to find everything thanks to the store having signage and being organized but the truly shocking thing was encountering employees throughout who wanted to help or at least say hello seeming to genuinely enjoy their jobs. It was towards closing when most store folks at places get cranky but no, helpful and kind. I needed to use the facilities and one person pointed me the way. I am used to having to do hostage negotiations to use a restroom anywhere in Portland so I saw someone mopping a floor and inquired. He said there is no code just go in... And wow - they have a wonderful set up where the toilets are unisex with their own closed door space and then an open washroom.... brilliant, clean and not being treated like a criminal when you are just doing a bodily function was amazing. Then I go to check out. Most stores I cannot remain in the motorized cart and reach to put the groceries up or pay etc but I could here! The cashier was wonderful, mindfully bagging things so that the weight was distributed though the four bags and letting me know that he was going to walk around to load the bags into the cart for me. I go to head to the parking lot and have that, "Uh oh" moment wondering is the cart going to shut off before I drive to my cart (effectively stranding me with four bags of groceries) in the parking lot or street...also getting the groceries to my car and then getting the cart all the way back. Suddenly a very sweet employee is right there and offers to assist me - I first said that my car is there and pointed across the street saying I was concerned the cart would auto off. He offered to come with and assist since he was locking the doors anyway and wanted to make it easier for me. That lovely fella loaded my groceries into my car and took the cart back. I get so used to things being all on me and stores treating me pretty terribly so it was shocking and so nice. I usually have great experiences showing at New Seasons but this was even better. ”

“ A bit pricier than other grocery stores in the area, but in general a good store that I'm happy to frequent all too often. Good selection, kind workers, tasty prepared foods and high quality butchers / seafood. My one complaint is that you do have to be mindful to check any produce or pastries, as they have a tendency to sell things longer than they should. ”

“ I practically visit New Seasons everyday. Love the store! It's unique because some of the products the store carries cannot be found at other local grocery stores. I love walking around the marketplace and looking for new items. I feel like a kid in a candy store hehe :). Please try their cookies! When you walk inside the store, to the right, you'll find a wide selection of cookies. In addition, you will find a wide selection of adult beverages including wines, seltzers, beers and more. The deli is amazing! I'm a deli guy so anytime I can find a large, and cool deli, I'm excited. Furthermore, you will find nice products store wide for your pallet. Come check out New Seasons Market in Slabtown! You won't be disappointed! ”

“ New Seasons has several locations in Portland, this is one of the newer ones. Like all the other stores, they have gorgeous, organic produce that looks as beautiful as it tastes. High quality meat and fish. A plethora of high end cheese. And a premade food area that offers some delicious meal choices with everything clearly marked so that people with allergies or avoidance preferences can easily see the ingredients. If you are making a charcuterie board, the crackers, nuts, dried fruit and olives are plentiful to go with a few cheese selections and cured meats. In the aisles, lots of natural products, hard to find health care and personal items (Crystal Rock Salt Deodorant), snacks and pantry items. This is not and can never be my everyday grocery store because I simply can't afford it - the reason for the 4 stars. But when I need quality seafood and meat or special produce, this is where I shop. The marinated kabobs are so tasty! I buy a few and then add my own onion, red pepper and zucchini for a satisfying meal. This is a neighborhood location so parking lot is small. Customer service is always exceptional. ”
